Grades are entered weekly for both parents and students to view on the PowerSchool app or website and progress reports will be sent home four times throughout the school year for students to have signed and returned. When a student is absent and misses an assignment, a zero is usually entered into the grade book so that the student and parents know which assignment needs to be made up. Please notify your teacher via email or Schoology that you have submitted an incomplete assignment. Please see the student agenda for grading scales and category weights.
PowerSchool’s app allows both parents and students to instantly monitor changes to grades and attendance with push notifications! You can also use PowerSchool Mobile to register to receive email alerts.
Please note that guardians must sign up at the school to access ParentPortal. This only needs to be done once as each student can continue to use his or her login information until graduation from DeSoto County Schools.
